<p>The undergraduate program in global affairs offers a major and a minor. Students pursuing either program of study take a core of courses that introduce them to the interdisciplinary study of global issues. In addition, majors chose from a range of possible concentrations that focus on either the study of a global theme or a specific world region.</p> <p>Started in 2004, the undergraduate program in global affairs has grown very rapidly. With over 500 majors and growing, the program is one of the largest undergraduate majors in the university.</p> <p>The major in global affairs is one of the truly interdisciplinary global studies bachelor's degrees in the United States.
